The Dean network
The school is divided into 4 groups (hapu) of Fire, Air, Water and Earth. Each hapu has 6 form groups (whanau) made up of up to 25 students from Years 7 - 13. There is a Dean for the junior students and one for the senior students in each hapu. The whanau teacher meets the students each morning for 10 minutes. The Dean deals with any concerns abut courses, homework, relationships, attendance and behaviour. The Dean works with the Guidance Councellor.
