The arts are an important part of life at Westland High School. Students can take part in events like the Smokefree Stage Challenge, Rockquest, music and drama evenings and get involved with local drama productions. There are opportunities to learn instruments, have vocal tuition and you can study art, drama and music right through to senior levels. Many students learn to dance and the annual school ball is a highlight of the year for seniors. From 2003 students will study all four arts disciplines (visual arts, dance, drama and music) from years seven to ten, with optional courses at Year 11 and above.
